<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of dehydrating coarse dust which can reduce the moisture content of the coarse dust to a desired value in a shorter time than before without using a large space, and can allow economical recycle of the coarse dust by inhibiting oxidation of metal iron in the coarse dust. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of dehydrating metal iron-containing coarse dust generated in a converter 11 and separated by a wet type coarse grain separator 13, the coarse dust to which moisture has adhered is supplied to a dewatering hopper 14 and dried by ventilation to reduce the moisture content of the coarse dust to 10 mass% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
