<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method and cleaning apparatus that can effectively remove blood or saliva in a brief time and reduce as much variation as possible in cleanliness of an instrument caused by the number of the instrument in which to put the cleaning apparatus, or how to be put in and disposed with respect to the medical instrument to which the blood or saliva are attached. <P>SOLUTION: The method is disclosed for cleaning the medical instrument, wherein the medical instrument to which a body fluid adheres is subjected to ultrasonic cleaning in a cleaning liquid in which chlorine dioxide is dissolved. Also the cleaning apparatus includes: a cleaning bath 2 that is configured so as to be able to perform ultrasonic cleaning; a mixing unit for producing the cleaning liquid in which the chlorine dioxide is dissolved; a first pipe 4 for supplying the cleaning liquid from the mixing unit 3 to the cleaning bath 2; and a second pipe 5 for supplying water to the cleaning bath 2. The cleaning apparatus is configured such that the cleaning liquid supplied from the mixing unit 3 through the first pipe 4 is diluted with water supplied through the second pipe 5, so that the chlorine dioxide dissolved in the cleaning liquid is at a predetermined concentration in the cleaning bath. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
