<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device which reduces power consumption by reducing a cooling load of a cooling means. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling device includes a circulation unit 10 for circulating internal air between the inside and outside of an object room 1, a cooling unit 20 for cooling the internal air, a moisture absorber 41a which is arranged in a predetermined sealed space 2, a temperature adjusting means which adjusts the moisture absorber 41a to a temperature suitable for adsorption of moisture, a second auxiliary cooling unit 50 which is arranged in a pressure-reduced atmosphere in which pressure decreases as the moisture absorber 41a adsorbs moisture in the enclosed space 2 and connects a first heat exchanger 51 and a second heat exchanger 52 by piping to circulate a medium housed therebetween, and a moisture supply means of supplying moisture to a surface of the first heat exchanger 51.
