<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved data encryption method for preventing data, software or application programs of an electronic device from being stolen. <P>SOLUTION: A data encryption method for an electronic device includes a step S11 of generating an identification code according to the electronic device, a step S12 of generating a temporary key according to the identification code, a step S13 of generating a first secret key by encrypting first data according to the temporary key and a first encryption mechanism, and a step S14 of generating an encrypted key by encrypting the first secret key according to a second encryption mechanism.
