RESIN COMPOSITION FOR FOAM MOLDING AND RESIN FOAM USING THEREOF, AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF RESIN FOAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for foam molding with both high closed pore rate and moderate stiffness, and further capable to get a biodegradable resin foam.

SOLUTION: The resin composition for foam molding includes an olefinic resin 3 and compatibly treated starches by a supercritical carbon dioxide reverse phase evaporation method. The starches are preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of starch 1, etherified starch and esterified starch. Furthermore, the ratio (weight ratio) of the starches and the olefinic resin is preferably starches/olefinic resin=1/99 to 60/40.
