SEISMIC STEEL OPEN FRAME METHOD

The present invention relates to a seismic retrofitting method using an opened frame of a steel plate, including the steps of: cleaning and repairing the surfaces of columns and beams of a building and the existing walls positioned between the columns and the beams; installing anchors to the surfaces of the columns and the beams and the existing walls positioned between the columns and the beams; mounting a mounting plate assembly of a lattice shape to the surfaces of the columns and the beams of a building and the existing walls positioned between the columns and the beams; placing non-shrink mortar between the surfaces of the columns and the beams of a building and the existing walls positioned between the columns and the beams, and the mounting plate assembly; finishing and painting the mounting plate assembly fixed to the building after the mounting plate assembly is cured and painted by anti-corrosion painting. The seismic retrofitting method is carried out by use of the mounting plate assembly formed in the lattice shape, without demolishing the existing window and damaging to the structure, and it is possible to shorten the construction period and minimize the construction costs.
