<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of suitably adjusting a humidification amount by increasing or decreasing the water content of a filter and the blast amount of an air blower respectively.SOLUTION: A disk-like filter 2 is arranged in a vertical attitude and can have a part of its outer peripheral part immersed in water in a water tank, and while a filter motor 31 is used for rotating the filter 2 in a circumferential direction, an air blower 5 blows air to the filter 2. When the amount of humidification is increased (or decreased), the filter motor 31 and/or a fan motor 51 which rotates blades 52 of the air blower 5 is increased (or decreased) in rotating speed, and then the water content of the filter 2 increases (or decreases) and air having passed through the filter 2 absorbs humidity by a large amount (or by only a small amount), so that the air having absorbed the humidity is blown out of the humidifier.</p> |
