Technologies related to a method for providing media content are generally described. In some embodiments, a method for providing audience-centric content may include the following steps of: identifying a targeted user from among one or more users near an electronic device based, at least in part, on information regarding previous media selections by each of the one or more users; and providing the one or more users with media content directed to the targeted user.
