<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of controlling product life and increasing product security. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes a substrate, a first chip mounted on the substrate and having first and second terminals and a semiconductor timer switch configured to disconnect an access between the first and second terminals after a lapse of a predetermined lifetime, a second chip mounted on the substrate and incorporating an operational device having a third terminal connected to the first terminal and fourth and fifth terminals serving as input and output terminals for an exterior, a first storage mounted on the substrate and having a sixth terminal connected to the second terminal and storing information required for operating the operational device, and a sealing means covering at least a surface of the first chip.
