PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector inserting and pulling-out tool capable of inserting and pulling-out a connector into/from a connector insertion part 30 adjacent to a barrier surface (20) in an insertion/ejection axis direction 40A in parallel to the barrier surface.SOLUTION: A connector inserting and pulling-out tool 1 includes: a holding part 11 which holds a connector 40; a grip part 12 for gripping the connector inserting and pulling-out tool 1; and a connection part 13 which connects the holding part and the grip part. The holding part 11 has two holding plates 11A, 11B. Each holding plate is constituted so as to be moved in parallel to a barrier surface and vertically to an insertion/ejection axis direction to sandwich the connector. The grip part 12 is constituted so as to be positioned farther from the barrier surface than the holding part 11.
