PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator and a seated person to adjust positions of a seat and a backrest of a chair, and to enable the operator to ensure safety for the seated person.SOLUTION: The operation device of a chair for operating actuation equipment for adjusting positions and an inclination angle of a seat and a backrest of a char includes: first operation means including a switch to input an instruction for driving the actuation equipment; second operation means including a switch to input an instruction for driving the actuation equipment and an operation permission switch for permitting an operation by the first operation means; and control means for driving the actuation equipment according to the instruction input from the first or second operation means. The control means is determination means for determining not to drive the actuation equipment according the instruction input from the first operation means unless the operation by the first operation means is permitted by the operation permission switch. |
