The specification relates to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner. Particularly, the specification relates to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner with a protection cover. An outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to an aspect of the present invention includes a case which has an internal space and forms appearance; an outdoor fan which is mounted in the case and moves air; a ventilation hole which is mounted to a side of the case and provides the air flow path of the internal space and the external space of the case; a grill which blocks foreign substance flowing into the ventilation hole; and a protection cover which is supported by the outer surface of the case and blocks foreign substance flowing into the grill.
