PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line connection connector for medical treatment, a line connection connector that is defined as a novel structure and is capable of preventing as much as possible various germs from entering into a fluid line from outside through a needle tube which is penetratingly stabbed in an elastic seal of a port.SOLUTION: A line connection connector 10 is structured such that a needle tube 16 is projectingly provided in one opening of a penetration hole 14 in a needle hub 12, that a port part 18 for line connection is formed in the other opening of the needle hub 12, with a needle protection hood 24 covering the outer periphery of the needle tube 16 also provided, and that the connector 10 is connected to a fluid line 138 by stabbing the needle hub 12 in an elastic seal 114 provided in the fluid line 138. In this connector 10, the needle tube 16 is covered with an elastic cover 52, whose opening 54 on the proximal end side is hermetically attached to the proximal end side of the needle tube 16. Consequently, the tip end part of the needle tube 16 stabbed in the elastic seal 114 is covered with the elastic cover 52. |
