The present invention relates to a damper using a viscous fluid, comprising a first body; a viscous fluid; a second body; and a third body. The first body has a plurality of first discs having an opened center that are horizontally fixated to a side surface of the interior of a storing container at vertical intervals, the storing container having a storage space formed therein to be opened to the upside. The viscous fluid is contained in the storage space to allow the first discs to be soaked. The second body is installed on the interior of the first body to be moved in a horizontal direction and includes a lower plate positioned on the bottom of the storage space, a hollow shaft perpendicularly fixated to the lower plate and positioned to pass through the centers of the first discs, and a plurality of second discs horizontally fixated to the hollow shaft at vertical intervals to overlap the first discs in the horizontal direction and be spaced from the first discs. The third body has a support shaft vertically inserted into the hollow shaft and an upper plate fixated to an upper end of the support shaft to allow a target object for periodic damping to be fixated to or installed on the upper plate. According to the present invention, efficiency of periodic damping can be increased, periodic damping force is easily adjusted or controlled, and a number of vertical and horizontal strokes can be increased. |
