PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle capable of using a steering wheel switch to serve as handle switch of a vehicle that lacks forward and reverse travel functions, suppressing an increase in the number of switches, and suppressing degradation in switch layout efficiency.SOLUTION: A saddle riding type vehicle 10 comprises: a reverse-mode-setting input unit 80 setting a reverse mode for allowing the saddle riding type vehicle 10 to travel reversely; and a control unit 106 deactivating shifting operation of a transmission 40 by a downshift switch 74 and upshift switch 72, operating the downshift switch 74 to allow the saddle riding type vehicle 10 to travel forward, and operating the upshift switch 72 to allow the saddle riding type vehicle 10 to travel reversely. |
