<p>The shaft (6) has a shaft end (1), where the door closer is formed for engaging in a lever eye of a lever. The shaft end has a square profile. Two adjacent sides (2) of the shaft end have a bevel (5), where the sides are formed such that the cross section of the shaft end decreases in an area of the bevels in the direction of a front end of the shaft. Independent claims are also included for the following.
