PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission capable of preventing interference of a transmission mechanism with a prescribed member on a counter shaft while suppressing increase of an axial dimension and a car body longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: In an automatic transmission 1 in which a transmission mechanism and a counter driving gear 20 are disposed on an axis 2a of an input shaft 2, and a counter driven gear 30 is disposed on a counter shaft 3 disposed in parallel with the input shaft 2, in a transmission case 5, the counter driving gear 20 is disposed at an outer peripheral side of a bearing 25 so that a tooth portion 20a is axially overlapped with the bearing 25, the counter driven gear 30 is disposed in a state in which an inner peripheral portion 30b thereof is offset to one side in the axial direction with respect to the tooth portion 30a, and a parking gear 60 connected to the counter driving gear 20 is disposed on a position to be axially overlapped with the inner peripheral portion 30b of the counter driven gear 30 on the axis 2a of the input shaft 2. |
