In order to enable a user to execute parameter settings as easily as possible, a control system is provided with a master station (10) having a programmable logic controller (PLC) (11) for executing a user program (113) and a remote station (20) provided with a communication memory (213) to which a PLC device is allocated, a slave communication unit (21), and a unit (22-0) for inputting or outputting one or more pieces of data, the remote station (20) being connected to the master station (10) through a network (40). The PLC (11) transmits allocation data designation information designating the data, among the unit data inputted or outputted by the unit (22-0), to which the PLC device is to be allocated, and an allocation rule to the slave communication unit (21). The slave communication unit (21) allocates, on the basis of the received allocation rule, the unit data, among the unit data inputted or outputted by the unit (22-0), that is designated by the received allocation data designation information, to the communication memory (213). |
