PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell capable of controlling a slow-response fuel cell module and a quick-response inverter in an efficient and simple manner.SOLUTION: A solid electrolyte fuel cell (1) comprises: a fuel cell module (2); fuel supply means (38); a fuel cell controller (110) which has first power demand detecting means (110a), controls the amount of fuel supply based on demand for power, and sets an available current value which is the maximum available current value; an inverter (54) for obtaining a current from the fuel cell module (2); and an inverter controller (111) which has second power demand detecting means (111a), and controls the inverter independently of the fuel cell controller so that a current can be obtained from the fuel cell module according to the power demand at or below the available current value inputted by the fuel cell controller. |
