METHOD OF RECOVERING METAL POWDER FROM PLATINUM PASTE, AND METHOD OF REPRODUCING PLATINUM PASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for recovering metal powder having properties equal to those of metal powder at a production stage from platinum paste which contains platinum powder or platinum alloy powder as the metal powder, and a method of reproducing platinum paste.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of recovering metal powder composed of at least platinum powder or platinum alloy powder from platinum paste which is formed by mixing a solid content composed of the metal powder with an organic component composed of at least organic solvent. In the method, the organic component is removed by heating the platinum paste at recovery temperature set within the temperature range of 300°C or higher and 500°C or lower. Recovered metal powder can be reproduced into platinum paste equal to new platinum paste by being mixed with solvent or the like.
