<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a porous film for secondary batteries which keeps resistance against heat shrinkage, but has a less remaining water content and a large peel strength, and enables the enhancement in secondary battery performance; a composition for secondary battery porous films which enables the formation of such a porous film; and a secondary battery enhanced in performances including a high-temperature cycle characteristic.SOLUTION: A composition for secondary battery porous films comprises: polycarboxylic acid; polysaccharide thickener; non-conductive particles; and water. The polycarboxylic acid includes 20-50 wt% of a carboxylic acid group-containing monomer unit. The polycarboxylic acid is water-insoluble when pH is 6.5 or less, and is water-soluble when pH is 8 or higher. In the composition for secondary battery porous films, pH is over 7. A porous film and a secondary battery are each arranged by use of the composition for secondary battery porous films.</p> |
