<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive overhead transmission line excellent in corona noise characteristic after the rain.SOLUTION: An overhead transmission line 1 of the invention is configured so that, an outermost layer of an electric wire is formed of plural strands 32, and each strand 32 has an approximately fan shape cross section. Between the strands 32 adjacent on the outermost layer, groove parts 33 for drawing a water droplet falling from the electric wire by a capillarity, are formed.</p> |
