Provided are a pneumatic fender and a mouthpiece which enable safety valve detachment and attachment operations and a test confirming the valve opening pressure of a safety valve to be performed on the pneumatic fender when in use, and maintenance of which is notably improved by significantly reducing the time and effort required for said operations. The safety valve (6) of the pneumatic fender (1) when in use can be detached and attached due to a housing chamber (8) isolating the safety valve (6) from the inside space (2a) of a fender bag body (2) as a result of a closing position fixing member (5a) fixing an opening/closing valve (9) in a position in which a through-hole (7a), which is formed in a partition wall (7) constituting the housing chamber (8), is closed. The test confirming the valve opening pressure of the safety valve (6) is performed by opening a housing chamber opening/closing valve (12a) and increasing the internal pressure of the inside space (8a) of the housing chamber (8) up to a limit pressure (Pm) through a housing chamber communication path (12). The safety valve (6) is caused to function as normal by an opening position fixing member (5b) fixing the opening/closing valve (9) in a position in which the through-hole (7a) is open. |
