<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control structure capable of effectively suppressing swing even when bending deformation caused by overturning moment occupies a large proportion.SOLUTION: A vibration control structure includes: a first towering structure 2 in which bending deformation caused by overturning moment occupies a larger proportion in comparison with shear deformation; a second towering structure 3 arranged inside the first towering structure 2 and connected to the first towering structure 2; and dampers 4 each having one end fixed to the first towering structure 2 at an outer peripheral side anchorage pointαand the other end fixed to the second towering structure 3 at an inner peripheral side anchorage pointβat a height different from that of the outer peripheral side anchorage pointα. The dampers 4 are respectively arranged on an upstream side and on a downstream side with respect to a force applying direction, and an interval dbetween the inner peripheral side anchorage pointsβof the dampers 4 respectively arranged on the upstream side and on the downstream side is set to be smaller than the maximum width dof the second towering structure 3 in the force applying direction.</p> |
