The present invention relates to a removable cable inlet comprising a chimney for leading wire beams and an interface region for mounting the cable inlet onto or into a mating interface region of a housing body using a form fitted connection. Further, the present invention relates to an enclosure assembly comprising a housing body and at least a removable cable inlet. The present invention provide an improved removable cable inlet which comprises the interface region of the chimney comprising a rotation prevention means for preventing a rotation of the chimney with respect to the housing body in the mounted state in order to protect better the interior surface region of the housing body by preserving the mating interface region from local destruction of plating while keeping the chimney interface unchanged.
