AROMATIC AMINE DERIVATIVES AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT DEVICES MADE BY USING THE SAME

Novel aromatic amine derivatives represented by the general formulae (1) and (4) to (6); and an organic electroluminescent device comprising a cathode and an anode and one or more organic thin film layers sandwiched between both which include a light-emitting layer as the essential, wherein at least one of the organic thin film layers, particularly a hole transport layer, contains one of the aromatic amine derivatives alone or as a component of a mixture. The device permits low driving voltage and little suffers from the crystallization of molecules, and it can be produced in an enhanced yield and has a long lifetime.
