<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag capable of reliably restraining an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: In the curtain airbag for deploying an airbag body 1 in a curtain manner along an inner side of a side part of a cabin 2 when a car is subjected to a side impact or an overturn, inflation parts 1g of the airbag body 1 which are located on both sides of the cabin 2, and inflated and deployed so as to cover an inner side of an outwardly curved pillar 8 are formed so that lower sides are inflated thicker than upper sides. Since any space is not formed between an inner surface of the pillar 8 and the airbag body 1, the deploying behavior of the airbag body 1 becomes consistent.
