<p>A displacement detector capable of, without requiring switchover operation, measurement in two directions which differ by 180°. The displacement detector comprises a contact arm (41) supported at an extended rotating fulcrum (43); first and second contacts (42A, 42B) provided on the contact arm; first and second arms (21A, 21B) supported at a rotating fulcrum (23) and having one ends in contact with the contact arm (41); a first detection element (25) for the first arm; a second detection element (26) for the second arm; a detection part for detecting the positional relation between the first and second detection elements; a first biasing means (24A) for the first arm; a second biasing means (24B) for the second arm; a first stopper (30A) for the first arm; and a second stopper (30B) for the second arm. When the contact arm is rotated from a reference rotating position in a first or a second direction in such a state that the first and second arms are brought into contact with the first and second stoppers and the contact arm, the first and second arms are brought into a free state.</p> |
