PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table-type electric kotatsu capable of easily preventing burn injury while utilizing an existing sheet heater without impairing heat efficiency. SOLUTION: In this electric kotatsu provided with the sheet heater 1 on a central portion of a frame body 4 supported by leg portions 3, a metallic surface plate 11 as a heat radiating portion of the sheet heater 1 is covered by a lattice member 2 composed of woody material to prevent user's skin from direct contact with the metallic surface plate 11.
