PEPPER VARIETY RESISTANT TO ANTHRACNOSE DEVELOPED BY INTERSPECIFIC HYBRIDIZATION AND PRIMER SET FOR SELECTING ANTHRACNOSE-RESISTANT PEPPER VARIETY

PURPOSE: An anthrax resistant red pepper species which is raised through hybridization of a maternal red pepper plant body and a paternal red pepper plant body, and a primer set for selecting the same are provided to reduce labor and manufacturing costs by reducing the use of chemicals for anthrax control. CONSTITUTION: An anthrax resistant F1 red pepper species(deposit number KCTC 12285BP) is obtained by hybridizing a Capsicum annuum plant body which has genic male sterility(GMS) with a paternal red pepper plant body with enhanced anthrax resistivity. The anthrax resistant F1 red pepper 5140 species includes an anthrax resistant marker gene which includes one or more base sequences selected from a group including sequence bases with the sequence numbers 1-5. The paternal red pepper plant body comprises one or more base sequences selected from the group consisting of the base sequencess with the sequence number 1-5. The anthrax resistant red pepper species has antocyanine coloring in a hypocotyl and is a straight upright plant type.
