PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer for a combustion device capable of being miniaturized and having noise reducing effect in a wide band from a low frequency area to a high frequency area. SOLUTION: In this silencer B for the combustion device comprising a combustion gas flow channel 4 for circulating a combustion gas generated in the combustion device A, and an acoustic material mounted along the combustion gas flow channel 4, a gel-like first acoustic material 6 having viscoelasticity, and a non-gel-like second acoustic material 7 having heat resistance and acoustic absorption frequency higher than those of the first sound absorbing material 6 are used as the acoustic material. These acoustic materials 6, 7 are stacked in a state that the second acoustic material 7 is positioned near the combustion gas flow channel 4 with respect to the first acoustic material 6.
