The device is for use in a treatment plant having a pivoted holder for the components (10), a continuous conveyor for the holder, and an actuator to pivot the holder. It also has devices to interrupt and reinstate a connection between holder (14) and conveyor (16), especially during a pivot movement of the holder in a dip tank (24). The holder is lifted from the dip tank by a catch part (20). A bolt (22) on the holder locks into bolt retainer (18,19) on the conveyor. The distance between the retainers is adjustable to interrupt the connection between holder and conveyor.
