PURPOSE:To prevent a ribbon used for printing from being wound around a pressure roller, by providing a ribbon take-up roller which makes contact with the ribbon on the take-up side and functions as a return circuit electrode. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon 2 paid out from a ribbon payout reel 7 is passed through the position of a printing head 6. Thereafter, the ribbon 2 is taken up around a ribbon take-up reel 1 capable of free rotation and pressed against a combined return circuit electrode and take-up roller 4 by a spring 3 along a guide 5, under the function of the take-up roller 4 which is positionally fixed and is rotated by a driving system. |
