<p>PURPOSE:To improve a current amplifying operation and to increase luminous brightness of a CRT by shaping aperture cross-sectional areas of dinode electrodes in non-axis symmetry. CONSTITUTION:This plate is provided with at least one pair of dinode electrodes which are composed by matching two sheets of metallic plates having many apertures 3, and cross-sectional areas of apertures 3 formed in the metallic plates which compose the dinode electrodes 1 are shaped in non-axis symmetry. Further, two sheets of metallic plates which compose a pair of dinode electrodes 1 are structured so that their aperture shapes are nearly identified to each other on their junction surface. A flux of electron beams 4 incident to this multi-channel plate ACP can be exactly reflected on aperture side walls, and so the MCP with very large current amplification factor can be obtained.</p> |
