A brake booster and the manufacturing method are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by having no necessity of separate manufacturing by forming a flange integrally with an input shaft. A brake booster comprises an input shaft(20) supported by a spring, a coupling member(30) composed of a sound insulating member(32) coupled to the input shaft to reduce noise and a filter member coupled to the input shaft to reduce dust, and a flange(40) provided integrally to the input shaft to support the coupling member and a spring. |
