[Classes 92 (ii) and 119] An automatic firearm having a breech-block 3 which is actuated by a carrier 4, the breechblock being rocked into engagement with a locking abutment when the breech-block is in closed position, has the locking abutment formed by providing a cylindrical body 5 with an abutment face 7 and a face 8 which aligns with the face on the casing 9 along which the breech-block slides during recoil. The body is formed with an eccentrically disposed head 6 which engages a corresponding seating in the breech casing to ensure accurate assembly of the body and casing. |
