FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions pertains to pipe fittings and is meant for selective flow distribution of process medium from the source to a specified place. The rotary valve has housing with a chamber in which there is rotor (14) and several openings through which fluid medium passes. Rotor (14) has at least one passage for regulating flow of fluid medium through the chamber and seal (34). Sealing surface (36) of seal (34) is in contact with inner surface (39) of the housing of the valve near the chosen opening in the housing of the valve. Rear surface (35) of seal (34) is on the side opposite of sealing surface (36), passage (52) and projection (38). The latter directs the fluid medium (Pe) under pressure so as to press sealing surface (36) to the housing of the valve. Opening (40) is bored in the outer surface of the rotor. Projection (38) of seal (34) is inserted into bored opening (40). Sealing element (42) is put around the projection to create a barrier for the fluid medium between the seal and the side wall of the bored opening. The sealing element borders part of the rear surface of the seal, on which the under pressure fluid medium acts. There are other subjects of the invention: seal assembly (34), an actuating mechanism and three versions of the rotary valve. ^ EFFECT: increased air-tightness and reliability of the valve. ^ 20 cl, 26 dwg |
