PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-reducible thin storable umbrella easily reduced in size. SOLUTION: An attachment 3 for attaching a handle 1 of an umbrella and a cloth 2 of the umbrella is provided at the upper part of the umbrella handle 1, the umbrella cloth 2 is fixed via the attachment 3, the umbrella cloth 2 at a portion connected to the attachment 3 is reinforced, a circular and resilient skeleton 4 is attached to the outer circumference of the umbrella cloth 2, a cloth is provided around the outer circumference of the umbrella cloth 2 with its bottom up for preventing the inflow of rain into the umbrella handle 1, strings 5 to be attached to the umbrella handle 1 are attached to the skeleton 4, the skeleton is fixed to prevent the movement of the strings 5, and a connector 6 for attaching the strings 5 is attached to the umbrella handle 1. This thin storage umbrella improves the strength of the strings 5, fixing the connector 6 for preventing the movement of the strings 5, placing the connector 6 in such a position as being capable of stretching the umbrella cloth 2 and having a waterproof storage case for storage in case where the umbrella is wet.
