A signal receiving apparatus includes: a tuning unit (11) which has at least one tuner (T1); a communication unit (12) which communicates at least one external device (20); and a controller (17) which divides an entire channel frequency band to be assigned to the tuning unit (11) and a tunable device (20), and controls the tuning unit (11) and the communication unit (12) to tune the assigned channel frequency bands if a tunable device (20) is present among the external devices.
