RESIN COMPOSITION FOR FOAM BODY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN CROSSLINKED FOAM BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a foam body, from which a foam body that is a resin crosslinked foam body, low in yellowness, and high in whiteness, and has a uniform bubble state and excellent surface appearance is obtained, and to provide a method for producing a resin crosslinked foam body.

SOLUTION: The resin composition includes a polyethylene-based resin (A) and an azodicarbonamide (B). In the resin composition, the polyethylene-based resin (A) is contained in an amount of 50-99.5 mass% to 100 mass% of the whole resin composition, and the azodicarbonamide (B) is contained in an amount of 0.5-10 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the polyethylene-based resin (A). In the resin composition for a foam body, the azodicarbonamide (B) satisfies the following requirements (1) and (2). (1) The decomposition temperature is within the range of 197-207°C. (2) The gas generation rate at 190°C is 20-50 ml/(min×g).
