The present invention relates to a data update method and system. The method includes: step 110, receiving a data update request; step 120, determining whether there are fragment copy servers that can update data in a fragment server cluster; step 130, when it is determined that there are fragment copy servers that can update data in the fragment server cluster, updating data in at least one fragment copy server that can update data in the fragment server cluster; and step 140, after the data update for the at least one fragment copy server that can update data is completed, executing steps 110 to 130 for the remaining fragment copy servers that have not been updated until data update for all the fragment copy servers that have not been updated is completed. With the method of the present invention, automatic switch for data files, such as configuration files and search dictionaries, etc. can be performed and become effective without stopping on-line services. |
