<p>The present invention relates to a remote control system of home appliance through an alarm function of a smartphone, and a method thereof. According to the present invention, alarm sound from one or more smartphones is stored in a remote controller, and an infrared signal is transmitted to previously registered home appliance from the remote controller when the alarm sound rings from the smartphones, thereby remotely controlling the home appliance to be operated. Also, the system of the present invention provides a convenient function of playing an audio file (MP3 file, wav file, ra file, rm file, etc.) stored in a mobile memory (USB, SD card, etc.) through an MP3 player embedded in the remote controller when an alarm of the smartphone rings in cases where an electronic device having the infrared or wireless control functions, is not installed in a house or a specific place (room for a son or daughter or the like) to control an operation during alarming. According to the present invention, the remote control system of home appliance through the alarm function of the smartphone comprises: at least one smartphone; at least one home appliance provided at home, having a unique code to distinguish the device, and controlling an operation by an infrared signal; and a remote controller for storing alarm sound of the smartphone, and operating the home appliance with the infrared signal by the alarm sound of the smartphone.</p> |
