<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing trim-scrap, capable of permitting a cutting torch stably to follow the steel plate without disturbing movement of the cutting torch at a portion of resuming trim-scrap cutting when a trimmed scrap produced at a width end of the steel plate is subdivided in a short strip shape. <P>SOLUTION: A method for processing trim scrap of a steel plate includes: a length-direction cutting, that is, cutting a width end of the steel plate in a length direction by a given length, and a width-direction cutting, that is, cutting from a cut groove cut in the length direction to the width end of the steel plate are repeated with a cutting torch to subdivide each of trim scraps into a given length; and processing the subdivided product. In the method, a portion of cutting off a trim scrap and a portion of resuming trim-scrap cutting are spaced apart from each other, and a route (a pass line) of the cutting torch is set to avoid a contact of the cutting torch with the cut-off trim scrap, thereby avoiding an adverse effect caused by jump up of the cut-off trim-scrap strip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
