A file storage method and device. The method comprises: establishing two or more than two file buffering areas for recording video files of a pre-set length (S102); inputting a video file in sequence in the two or more than two file buffering areas by continuously overwriting the buffer areas (S104); storing the video file according to the video files inputted into the two or more than two file buffering areas (S106). The method solves the problem in the prior art of limited storage space in a terminal that causes a user's inability to timely store video content, thereby enabling users to store video content desired and improving user experience. |
