A lens (311) of a plug (31) converts an optical signal from an optical fiber cable (20) to light of a prescribed angle of divergence and emits same. A plug casing (315) anchors the optical fiber cable (20) and the lens (311). On an emission face (20a) side of the optical fiber cable (20), the lens (311) is at a position whereat the optical signal from the optical fiber cable (20) becomes the light of the prescribed angle of divergence. The optical signal emitted from the plug (31) will be diffused when entering an eye of a person in the vicinity, so harmful impact on visual function, etc. can be prevented.
