PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a process of preparing a solar battery cell with a semiconductor substrate having a diffusion pattern containing adjacent p-type and n-type diffusion regions and cutting the prepared solar battery cell into solar battery sub cells in which the number of manufacturing steps is increased to leave an area where no diffusion region exists in the neighborhood of a cutting line, and thus the productivity is not enhanced.SOLUTION: In a solar battery cell containing a first conduction type diffusion area and a second conduction type diffusion area formed on one of two principal surfaces of a first conduction type semiconductor substrate, the first conduction type diffusion area comprises a first diffusion area and a second diffusion area, the first diffusion area comprises plural rod-shaped areas formed along a predetermined direction, the second diffusion area intersects to all the first diffusion areas, and the second conduction type diffusion area surrounds the first conduction type diffusion area. A solar battery cell, a solar battery sub cell and a solar battery module that are high in productivity and excellent in power generation efficiency can be obtained by using the thus-constructed solar battery cell. |
