<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the sequence where n lines scanned with a first scan optical system are arranged in a sub-scanning direction equal to the sequence where n lines scanned with a second scan optical system are arranged in a sub-scanning direction when a multi-beam system constituted of n light beams is to be applied to a counter-scanning system.SOLUTION: When n is 2 for example, a first multibeam control part 3 makes first line data D1a on the first order correspond to a first light emission part 21a on the first order, and first line data D1b on the second order correspond to a first light emission part 21b on the second order, thereby emitting a first multibeam MB1 from a first light source 20. A second multibeam control part 4 makes second line data D2a on the first order correspond to a second light emission part 31a on the second order, and second line data D2b on the second order correspond to a second light emission part 31a on the first order, thereby emitting a second multibeam MB2 from a second light source 30.</p> |
