A harmful material oxidizing apparatus to remove harmful materials from a ship is disclosed. The apparatus to oxidize harmful materials comprises: a storage part to store hydrogen peroxide (H_2O_2); a catalyst part wherein a catalyst to convert the hydrogen peroxide (H_2O_2) into an OH radical by decomposing the same is provided; and an oxidation reaction part wherein the hydrogen peroxide (H_2O_2) and the OH radical are supplied through one end, harmful materials are supplied through an other end, and the harmful materials are oxidized by reacting the same with the hydrogen peroxide (H_2O_2) or the OH radical. Therefore, provided is an apparatus to oxidize harmful materials capable of allowing harmful materials having different chemical characteristics contained in an exhaust gas discharged from a ship to simultaneously be removed.
