In a method for transmitting application-related data, the present invention suggests a method and an apparatus for increasing the electronic device usage time and minimizing an accompanying side effect. To this end, the method includes: an action of recognizing a data transmission request of at least one first application; an action of determining whether or not a first section corresponding to the request is included within a second section which is a data request detection section of a second application which needs a network connection; and an action of, in the case of the first section included within the data request detection section, transmitting request data related to the second application which needs the network connection and user data of the first application by using at least a part of the first section and the data request detection section.
