The LC quadrature oscillator (100) has a mismatch compensator (125) that compensates for phase and amplitude mismatches of predetermined clock signals and having an amplitude mismatch detector (130). A first LC oscillator (110) generates a first clock signal. A second LC generator (120) generates a second clock signal. The first and second clock signals form the predetermined clock signals. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a mismatch compensating method; and (2) a mismatch compensating system.
